International rental housing competition for young artists, as a formula to reflect on the concepts of smart, flexible, sustainable and affordable housing.
We think about art and space. As the art evolves the space change. As art evolves, space changes. The building is a changing experience that mixes habitability and creativity under one roof.
Located in Cordoba (Spain) in direct relation to the Guadalquivir River and surrounded by modern cultural buildings. The project is a residential complex dedicated to experimental artistic practice and therefore inhabited mainly by artists, creatives or people involved in the sector.
In order to promote coexistence and creative effervescence, we proposed a flexible space with a free program that can be configured by mobile housing units. These rooms are like wooden boxes open to the roof and allow great flexibility to be able to move them and change the space according to the inspiration of others.
